Cutting down the Christmas Tree...

The week after Thanksgiving we went to Cub River with Tim and Kamie to get our tree. There was a lot of snow this year. We parked the trucks at the bottom and all piled in the buggy. Kamie stayed at the truck with Blakelee since she had just been released from the hospital for RSV.

Once we got to the top of Cub River Randy and Tim took off to look for a tree and the kids stayed with me since they could barely walk in the deep snow.

The kids got right to work making Olaf from Frozen.

After a while H and Reagan found more joy in eating snow.

It didn't take the boys long to find the perfect trees.

We loaded them on top of the buggy and headed down the mountain to the parked trucks.

Once we got to the trucks the kids enjoyed the snow and some hot chocolate and donuts that Aunt Kamie brought.

H fell asleep on the buggy so we let him stay that way for a while to get a nap.

The kids did a litte bit of sledding down this short but really steep hill. There were a few times that made me pretty nervous.

Then Randy and Tim got the brilliant idea to pull them behind the buggy.

Brad and Claire loved it. We could hear there giggles from far away.

I love this tradition.
