Franklin Basin- Logan Canyon

Two weeks ago we went camping with the Bentley family. Brad and Dean played basketball together on the team Randy coached and Matt his dad works with me in the Emergency Department as a nurse.

Claire had to play with boys the whole weekend but she didn't seem to mind. However these pictures made me laugh. The boys are being ninja warriors and Claire is posing and curtsying. She likes to play with boys but still maintains her feminine side.

Jack is their youngest boy He will be 5 this fall. Harrison and Jack were attached at the hip. They stayed side by side the whole trip. They played so good together.

They found sticks that they could drag around the whole trip.

Matt and Delsa wanted to have a contest to see which kid was the dirtiest at the end of the day. Harrison was by far the winner.

Matt brought flint and steel to light our campfire. Brad spent a good hour with Matt learning how to make a spark. He was determined to make it work.

When Claire would have enough of the boys she would beg Delsa to play games with her. Delsa was a good sport and played connect 4 with Claire several times during the trip.

Hugh is the middle child. He cracked me up. He talked and jabbered non-stop. There was one point I forgot he was talking to me and I started talking to someone else. When I realized he was still talking I asked if he was still talking to me...He said "Uh...YA", then just kept talking.

Dean is the oldest. He and Brad played really good together. They would try to find times when it could just be them without all the little kids. The would try to sneak away for a minute or two to get some reprieve. Claire had a SUPER CRUSH on Dean. She told me he was so nice and cute. She wanted to be by his side nonstop.

How can you not LOVE this face. Cute little Jack Jack.

I kinda like this face too!!!

Oh and this one!!!

The sunsets were spectacular. I wish this picture gave the sky justice.

We let the kids stay up late every night to sit around the campfire. The kids took turns telling stories, singing songs, making up skits and acting silly.

The whole bunch.

It was fun camping with the Bently family.
