Friends Halloween Party

I was feeling guilty for leaving my kids on Halloween night. I agreed to throw the kids a Halloween party in an attempt to feel less guilty. Halloween is a BIG deal at our house.

We had quite the crowd.

My spookies. They got full makeup on Saturday. They don't get to have makeup on Halloween since Randy and I will be gone.  We went all out a bit early.

Harrison is a "Fighter Fighter"

Claire is Corpse Bride from the Tim Burton Movie. Kamie made the awesome veil for her.

I wonder if there will ever be a year that she wants to be something girly. She always wants to be scary. It fits her personality.

Bradley was an evil scarecrow. He loved the gloves for this costume.

We even glued stitches across his nose and cheeks.

We decorated pumpkin rice crispy treats.

Then we did dead Ed on the front porch.

Then we went inside to the witches layer to make a potion. These pictures don't do this justice.

The kids helped put the ingredients in the cauldron.

Then we went downstairs to eat our witches potion and watch the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

After the movie the kids got to dance around like Zombies. Claire and Lyndsee taught them the Thriller dance that they have been learning at school.

It was a great party...but I was pooped when it was all over and all cleaned up!!!

Logan Pumpkin Walk

Last Friday the girls took the kids to the Logan Pumpkin Walk after school.

These kids are all such good friends.

The kids loved the Lego display

H was so excited to see spider-man.

The weather this year was absolutely beautiful and sunny.

After the pumpkin walk we went back to our house and had Jack O' Lantern Pizzas. The kids watched Corpse Bride while I made the girls help me frantically get ready for the kids' Halloween party.

Random Post...

I sewed something...well more like tacked a pocket down on a pair of jeans. But I am going to count it as being a domestic goddess.

Melissa had a Doctor appointment so we got to spend the afternoon with Wyatt. Wyatt and H helped me get all the pumpkins out of the garden and on the front porch. Their reward was decorating a mini pumpkin complete with Google eyes.

Kamie, Tori and I kidnapped Jenni for the night to take her out before she has her baby. We drove away and this is how we left all the boys on the porch. We are married to such good men.

I bought a new haunted village to put on my piano for Halloween and I love it!!

I asked Claire to set the table for me and this is what we got. She is such a girly girl sometimes.

After H's birthday party he set up all his new toys and played for hours.

It was an epic dinosaur vs. army guy battle.

There is the dinosaur face again.

A while ago randy put this handicap sign in a neighbors yard. It got passed around for a while.  It mysteriously showed up the other day in our yard. We have no idea who had it last.

Last week was school lunch with your parents week. I got to hang out with my kids in the cafeteria.

Harrison wanted to sit with the Shields. He had enough of me.

My new calling is YW secretary. It has been the funnest calling. Last week I went to the Beehive activity. They did blindfolded makeovers. Silly girls. I just love them.

The Babies are 3 !!!!

I don't think I will ever stop calling Harrison and Reagan "the babies". When we are celebrating their 12th birthday we may need to stop.

Kamie hosted their birthday party on the farm this year.

We opted to do a doughnut cake. It was so much easier than making a cake.
 Plus doughnuts are H's favorite.

We did a soup and bread stick bar. It was super easy and perfect for the fall.

Kamie added creepy bugs to the ice-water.

Present time!!!

Lots of fun new toys. He was spoiled. We have such good family and friends.

I couldn't believe how patient and good they were about taking turns opening up their gifts.

H's dinosaur face.

Time to blow out the candles.

Kamie got these cute masks for them to decorate.

Baby Clay. He is getting so big!

The kids all congregated around Nanny to play with all the new fun stuff.

Happy Birthday cute babies. We love you!
