Checking out Reagand and Blakelee's Christmas

Randy Tim and Nate went out of town the Friday after Christmas. Once Tim picked up Randy to go to the airport I packed up Christmas leftovers and the kids and headed up to the farm to see the girl's Christmas.

Santa brought them the cutest kitchen.

Once we got the babies settled in bed we watched Malificent with Brad and Claire. It was so nice and relaxing.

Kiwanis Christmas Party

The Kiwanis club had their kids party the week after Christmas. It was catered by Coppermill. The kids got chicken strips and fries.

They had a lady come all dressed up to tell stories to the kids.

She gave Brad a big old smooch on the face when I took a picture.

He was bright red. He was not sure what to think.

Christmas Day 2014

Luckily for us the kids slept until about 8:00. We even got them to get in bed with us for a few minutes. They finaly dragged us out of bed. We wrote our traditional letters to the savior and put our gifts to him under the tree. Then we watched a video about the true meaning of Christmas that the church put out. It was a very sweet and tender moment. We were all in tears. We then had a small testimony meeting with just us. I love my kiddos and our family.

We then headed downstairs to see if Santa made it. He left a gift for H and letters for Brad and Claire thanking them for donating their Santa gift to someone in need. They were pretty excited about getting a real letter from Santa with his real signature.

Harrison was more interested in stomping the plastic bubble wrap. We spent several minutes making sure that he stomped all of them.

Then it was paper flying.

We got Brad waiters. He was so excited that he got to get in the water to help retrieve the decoys rather than sit in the duck boat.

Claire got a Barbie house and lots of Barbies.

H got an imaginext city with trucks and helicopters. He also got a wiggle car.

Randy and I were kicking ourselves that we didn't set up the Barbie house beforehand. It took us hours on Christmas morning. Holy cow what a mess. Lesson learned.

We have had a very dry and mild winter this year. We were thrilled that a big storm came Christmas morning. We got about 8 inches.

My parents got us an outdoor oil-less turkey fryer for Christmas so I wanted to cook a turkey for dinner. I brined it for 24hrs.

While we waited for the turkey Randy helped Brad mount his turkey feathers.

We could smell the amazing turkey outside. Yummy!

He was so excited about his spread.

Finally the turkey was done and ready to rest. It was the BEST turkey I have ever made. It was so moist and flavorfull. I love our new toy.

The rest of the afternoon we played with toys and games and stayed in our PJ's most of the day. I slowly got ready for dinner with family and friends.

Kamie and Jenni came over early to help me pull dinner together. Cute little Caden was so good to snooze and hang out.

The kids played and played.

Blakelee was ready for dinner.

Nate and Jenni got Brad a duck call for Christmas. That is all we heard the rest of the night.

Brad got a magic kit from Lance and Kendra. It was one of his favorite toys. He showed everyone that would give him the time of day a new magic trick. Even during dinner he was walking around showing his magic.

Christmas dinner was so fun and so delicious.

It was a great day full of celebrating the birth of our Saviour, family, play, great food and fun.

Christmas Eve

After Randy's work meeting we headed to Salt Lake.

Last year we had breakfast at Old Grist Mill. We liked it and did it again.

We went to Randy's parents house first. We made candy-cane reindeer with the grand-kids while the boys helped Diet in the basement to finish up some trim. Matt had been there all day working on the house.

Matt sporting Diet's work pants. We all got a good laugh out of it.

Before we could exchange gifts Diet read from Luke 2

And Brad read a children's version of the nativity.

We started opening gifts. Somehow we got on the topic of Diet playing his accordion and Matt and Tori announced they were expecting. Diet had promised Tori a song on the accordion if she announced that she was pregnant. He kept his word. It was great. We had our suspicions that she was expecting so it was good to finally know for sure. We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet the new baby Fischer.

Gift exchange with the Fischers always gets pretty chaotic.

We tired to get a cousin picture in front of the tree. Blakelee was taking a nap so this was the best we could get.

For dinner we met up with the Reimanns. We ate dinner at The Pie Pizzaria.

My kids are still obsessed with Paige and Dillon.

Santa showed up at our party and gave all the kids huge gumballs.

After dinner we drove to temple square to see the lights with grandma and grandpa Moose, and Steven and Kari.

I loved ending the night at temple square. We got to listen to the nativity outside and see the Christus. It was perfect.
