You will be missed!!!!

My Grandpa Don Reimann passed away on August 8th. He was so sick right at the end. I will miss him horribly but am happy he is no longer suffering.

Don was born July 22, 1928 to Carl F. and Gladys Fidler Reimann. He passed away August 8, 2013 at his home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Don grew up in Salt Lake City. He served a mission to the British Isles. After returning home, he married the love of his life Virginia Maxfield in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they are the proud parents of 8 boys and 1 girl.
Throughout his life, Don touched many people with his energetic personality and strong beliefs. He taught many to play hard and work harder. He used these traits to accomplish and create many projects. He found great satisfaction in hobbies done with his hands, such as sculpting, model trains, cars, hpv’s and anything that could be done with cement.
As a family, we are grateful for Dad’s teachings and example, in the way he lived, his beliefs, and his love for us.
He is survived by his loving wife Virginia, children Kurt (Lori), Gary (Lisa), Jon (Kim), Bret (Kelly), Mark (Heather), Bryant (Alison), Kristie (Matt Shaw), Rex and Ryan (Tiffiny) Reimann. 41 grandchildren and 30 great-great grandchildren, his brothers-in-law Bill Harrison and Sam Spry, sibilings Richard (Veronica) Reimann and Ann (Dave) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents, sister Jolene Harrison, sister-in-law Marilyn Spry and grandsons Kory Reimann and Grant Shaw.
Funeral services Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 11am in the Butler 4th Ward, 6634 S. Greenfield Way (1910 East) with viewings at the church Monday 6-8pm and Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com

Funeral Services August 13th 2013
I had the privilege of speaking at his funeral. I am the oldest grand daughter so I was asked to represent all the grandchildren. I was honored to do so.

One of the best things about my grandpa was that he was always excited to see his grand kids. When you walked through the door he made you feel so loved, and so important. He worked hard his whole life. He is an amazing artist. He sculpted amazing Book of Mormon heroes. They are on display at some of the institute buildings in Salt Lake. I will never forget when he came to speak to the youth in my ward growing up and how proud I was that he was my grandpa.
I was so lucky to spend my childhood with him before he got sick.

The grandsons were the pallbearers.

The granddaughters got to place a rose on the casket after the dedication of the grave. The younger girls got to keep a flower off the casket.

I just adore my Grandma Reimann. She is such an amazing woman. If I could be just a fraction of the lady she is I will be satisfied. She has been so good to me in my life. Everyone deserves a grandma like her.
