Last Neighborhood Park Day of the Summer

For the last park day we had a pool party at our house. As you can see by the picture we had a fantastic turnout. I have said it over and over but I love that my kids are surrounded by good friends. There are always plenty of kids to play with around here.

We had a couple of pools set up and a bunch of water guns.
Most of the time was a big water fights. Boys vs. girls.
All the moms sat under the shade and enjoyed each others company.

Claire's new friend Lyndsee came to hang out. Randy and I are friends with Nate and Jenni Shields. Randy has gone hunting with Nate a few times and played baseball with him.  We went camping with them earlier this spring. We are trying to convince them to move North to Richmond area!!

Boy team...commandeering the pool.

Reagan drank a LOT of Coke that day!!!

Harrison prefers fresh water for the fight.

After most of the moms left Jenni, Kamie, Tori, Melissa and I sat our butts on chairs and chatted the rest of the afternoon. It was such a nice day. When the dad's got off work we threw together a quick BBQ.

Jenni ran home real quick and Lyndsee got to stay and play with Claire for a couple of hours. They get along so well. It is nice for her to have a girl to play with. All her girl friends moved away this year and she plays mostly with boys now a days. She loved playing dress ups again instead of soccer, karate, or army.

After a long day of playing in the sun...they boys needed a chip break.

The kids had a great day. We love the summer!!!
