Tidbits...

We are counting down the days until summer break. Until then we just enjoy the warm weather.

The last week of school the kids had Luau day.

Randy and I decided to take a hiatus from sports and extracurricular activities with out kids until the fall. We wanted to have some freedom to go camping and make some family memories.  We didn't want to be tied down and committed to a schedule.  We are so excited for summer break.

Claire's last day of Kindergarten. K-garten got out a day earlier than the rest of the school. She loved Mrs. Burningham. Mrs. Kirby will be her teacher next year. She is pretty excited.

On Brad's last day we got a call from Grandpa Moose. He was in town doing a job in Logan. Brad only had a half day at school so as soon as he got home we met Grandpa at Pizza Pie Cafe. It was a fun surprise to see him.

That weekend Steven and Kari came to visit too. They were in town for a baby shower for Kari's niece. Steven and Claire were spinning around and lost grip. Claire fell backwards and landed on her arm. We went to instacare the next morning and found out she broke her arm.

Who breaks their arm on the first day of summer. Bummer way to start out.

She was pretty excited about her pink cast. And as a bonus it is waterproof. I don't think it will slow her down too much.

On June 1st I got a phone call from my parents that my Grandma Reimann had passed away. It was hard to wrap my head around her being gone. She is the most amazing woman I know. She was an elect lady who taught me numerous life lessons and loved her family genuinely and unconditionally.

Randy was in charge of the Father and Son's camp the first week of summer. He had to delegate that assignment to someone else so we could head to Salt Lake for Grandma's funeral.
