little tidbits of the last few weeks...

Kamie had an interview at Logan Regional Hospital for a new nursing job here in the Valley. I got to watch Reagan. We sent her a picture of Reagan sending her mom her version of a thumbs up. It was so cute.

Randy took me to the Annual Aggie Auction. We sat at the Zion's Bank table.  The dinner was amazing. Randy just got a new job with Lewiston State Bank so we wont get to go to as many events...but that's okay since he is going to love his new job. He is going to be just a commercial lender which means promotion and better pay and benefits.

We went on a double date with Jon and Trish. We went to the Red Iguana for dinner and saw Les Miserables at Hale. Les Mis was just as good the second time if not better. I can out sobbing with puffy eyes. What an amazing play. I can't wait to see it on Broadway some day. On the way home we stopped and had yummy shakes at Peach City in Brigham. I kept thinking of something else we could do. I wasn't ready to go home. I was enjoying the night out so much.

Brad got to go to a REAL soccer game with Uncle Matt and Aunt Tori for his birthday. He loved it!!! He talked about how crazy the fans were and how much fun he had for days. It was the perfect present.

Brad has been really interested in helping me cook. It takes a lot of patience on my part since sometimes I just want to get it done fast and I have to slow down. He made these German Pancakes with very little help the other day. It makes all the extra time worth it if it means his wife can count on cooking once in a while.

H and Wyatt were out back playing in the dirt. I came out to check on them and they were having the time of their lives making these mud pies.

I let Claire and Zoey play with makeup and this is how it turned out...sigh...hopefully she gets the hang of moderation later on when it is important.

I was babysitting Carter the other day and they both had a lengthy conversation about their T-shirts. They had to show me and everyone else around.

I walked into H wearing Claire's headbands. She put him up to it. When it was time to take them off he refused. He liked all the attention he was getting and didn't want to get rid of them.

Claire loved it when Blakelee is at the house. She always wants to hold her and feed her. She is so cute.

Brad has a new friend Mackenzie. She came over on a Saturday and they played all day. There was no fighting. They got along great and she even put Bradley in his place a few times. I loved it.

I was babysitting Wyatt Carter and Cowen and they all decided that they needed to fix the pink tricycle. It entertained them for a good hour. They are such little grown men.

I LOVE this boy. We bombarded him during his hunt. This picture makes me melt. We love you Wyatt!!!

The sun is making this cute girls freckles come out. Gosh she is growing up too fast. I love her.

Other than that we have been busy starting up Randy's rental businesses here in Logan and St. George. He is also trying to get the car dealership rolling. I love how ambitious Randy is. He is a good man.

Life is good and we are so incredibly blessed.

Easter Morning 2014

Easter morning the kids got up early and crawled into bed with us. Church is at 11:00 this year so we had some time in the morning to not be rushed. We read the story of the atonement and resurrection from the scriptures as a family. My kids impressed me this year with how engaged they were with the story.

I found these cute Easter tins. I wanted them to write a letter to the Savior like we do at Christmas. Instead of giving him a gift I wanted them to write him a thank you letter. It was sweet to watch them write  their feelings about the atonement. I couldn't believe how mature and thoughtful they were. I was very touched.

When they finished up their letters we gave them their Easter baskets while Randy and I went outside to hide candy filled eggs.

Brad got a tennis racket. Last summer we (the adults) went to the park a lot in the evenings to play tennis. Brad has been begging for one ever since.

Claire got a basketball. She was tired of using Brad's and she needed her own.

H got a little basketball too.

All ready to hunt for eggs.

Wyatt was out hunting for his eggs at the same time. He was so cute and wanted H to come find some of his eggs.

Love these boys.

I made breakfast while the kids rummaged through the spoils. When I walked into the living room they were pretend cracking the plastic eggs and emptying them into a bowl. H was just giggling. It was cute.

H all dressed up in his new tie. So handsome.

Happy Easter from our little PEEPS.

After church we had ham, cheesy potatoes and rolls. Then we spent the afternoon hanging out as a family.
 It was a great day.

Easter Celebrations 2014

Saturday morning we went to the Richmond city Easter Egg Hunt. They had a HUGE turnout!!! I couldn't believe how many people were there.

Wyatt H and Carter...the toddler fraternity.

H was excited for it to start.

Claire and Lyndsee got to be in the same group too. Brad was off with the older kids and I didn't even see him until the end.

After the hunt we invited Lyndsee, Carter, Wyatt and Lily over to decorate eggs and cookies. We set up tables and let them all go to town.

I found these dye pens. Best thing ever!!!

Wyatt spent the whole time working on this egg. He colored the whole thing with dye pens then dunked it. It turned out so cool.

Nanny sent the kids egg decorations with their Easter packages. They were a big hit.

The toddler fraternity got bored after a while and decided to play on the rocks instead.

After we cleaned up the egg mess we let them decorate cookies. Jenni made awesome soft cookies.

H and Carter only decorated one cookie. They were more interested in eating them. It was almost impossible keeping them from licking the knives.

That night the weather was beautiful so we threw together a BBQ.

It was nice to see the boys in shorts and T-shirts.

As soon as the sun went down it got chilly so we had a nice fire pit. It was an awesome spring Saturday. My kids all got their first spring sunburns. Oops!!
