Business Trip for Randy and a night in Salt Lake for the kids...

Randy had to take a business trip to St. George with Jason. While he was gone I took the kids to Salt Lake to see their cousins.

The senior games were going on in St. George so there were no available hotels. This is where Randy stayed. Randy has severe problems with hotels that are clean and nice. I can't believe he actually slept here. Ha Ha Ha... He said it was really ghetto.  

They were looking at new Rocky Peak Locations, fixing some minor problems and playing with new toys. I don't even know what this thing is called.  

I checked the kids out a little bit early on Friday since we were only spending one night in Salt Lake. 

We met their cousins at Gardner Village for the Witch Festival. 

They danced on the stage. 

Claire convinced Uncle Aaron to dance with her on his shoulders. 

We love grandma Moose. 

I seriously have the best mom in the world. I love to spend time with her. 

The kids got their faces painted. 

H wanted spider-man of course. 

Brads is a dragon. 

After we found all the witches we got our traditional pumpkin sugar cookie from the bakery. 

After we were all worn out we all went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner.

My mom fed the boys all dinner in exchange for moving gravel from the front of the house to the back. They rented a tractor so no one made a fuss. Even Brad had fun raking gravel. 

On Saturday I had to go shopping. I needed to find a dress for our cruise. We dragged the kids to every store in Salt Lake. They were troopers. 

We rewarded them by letting them pick something out of the dollar bins at Target. Harrison wanted one of everything. 

I couldn't find a dress. It was very frustrating. I am too tall for regular cocktail dresses. Nothing fit right. They were all too short.  I ended up finding plazzo pants instead which I really liked. 

It was a whirlwind 24 hours but fun. 

Harrison's Birthday

Randy had to go meet a client in Brigham on H's birthday so we did his presents first thing in the morning. He has been really into super heroes lately. Especially spider-man. We got him a spider-man car and a tractor with a trailer. 

For breakfast he wanted rice and raisins. 

Reagan came over and brought him a treat and Balloons. 

We met at McDonald's to have a little party with his awesome friends. 

Since Randy wasn't home to take him to Birthday lunch we waited for Brad and Claire to come home so we could all go to dinner. We went to Olive Garden. H loves pasta. 

 I seriously love this kid. He makes me so happy.

Waiting for desert to come... he has the "selfie" mastered. 

H's favorite treat is a doughnut. In fact when we go to Lee's or pass Lee's he calls it the doughnut place. He was super excited to eat Zepolis dipped in chocolate sauce. 

It was a challenge to take all three kids to a nice restaurant by myself. I could never be a single mom.

After Nate and Randy met their client in Brigham they took him duck hunting. Poor guys...what an awful work meeting to have to go to. These were the pictures Randy sent us throughout the day.  

Conference Weekend

The boys enjoyed some duck hunting while they listened to conference and watched the sun rise. 

I took the kids to the farm to enjoy the day while Kamie and I watched conference. 

Claire was determined to help Blakelee figure out how to crawl. She has been so close for days. 

Poor Blakelee. She is going to have to get used to being mother henned. 

Kamie and I made some VERY delicious cinnamon rolls. 

The kids did some fun Halloween crafts. 

I love General Conference. I am so thankful we have a living prophet who leads and guides our church. I was very moved by all the talks. The theme seemed to be standing firm in the faith and following the prophet. This earth is getting scary. I find comfort in living the gosple. 

Randomness...

I found this on Claire's door. It made me laugh. Great minds need their privacy. 

I watch Kamie's girls a lot. The second Tim pulls up in the car H starts yelling "Yay!!! Reagan, Reagan, Reagan!!!" These two love to play together. The second Claire goes to school they love to go in her bedroom. They love to play dress ups and get into her toys and books. We just have to make sure we clean up the messes we make. 

After tumbling Jenni and I took the girls to Wendy's to get a frosty. We told them in order to get them they had to order them themselves. They were so shy and giggly. It took a lot of convincing to get them to do it. They almost didn't get their ice cream. 

Crazy Hair day at Park. The kids were so hyper and crazy before school. I feel bad for the teachers. When Claire got home she said that kids kept pulling on her hair thinking it was a wig. She said she had to prove it to all of them that it was her real hair. 

I got H dressed in this outfit and took him into the bathroom to do his hair and brush his teeth. When he saw himself in the mirror he said... "mommy, I look like grandpa moose". I about died laughing. My dad is always in overalls and a flannel shirt. 

Fall Baking

 I am always in the mood for baking as soon as Autumn rolls around. The kids wanted to make sugar cookies after church.  

Tim and Kamie came over for a visit Sunday night so we let the kids frost their own. 

Claire's were particularly beautiful!

Reagan and H just liked licking the frosting. 

We took them around to neighbors so we wouldn't eat ALL of them. 

After that I recruited Kamie to decorate my house for Halloween. She has such a eye for decorating. 

I love this time of year!

Girls Day from Dawn until Dark... Sept 27th

The Fischer girls decided it was time to have a girl day. The men have been doing a lot of hunting lately so they agreed to keep the kids and give us a day off. 

Kamie and I must have been the more desperate ones. We got up super early to go to some garage sales. We found some awesome things. It was very successful. 

We met up with everyone else in Brigham City for lunch at Grist Mill. After lunch we went to the Down East outlet to shop. I tired on a million things. We had to dig through boxes and boxes of things. We found some really good deals. 

Kendra had to leave after Brigham to get back to her kiddos so Lance could go to work. 

Kamie Tori and I headed back to Logan. We went to about every store in Logan. Then went to dinner and a movie. 

We did some serious shopping damage. I had so much fun shopping without ANY kids. I had a great time hanging out with the girls too!!! 

5th grade Market Day-Ms. Clark

I am the room mother in Brad's class this year. Once a month they do a fun Friday that I get to help with. Last Friday thy did a Market Day where they could buy and sell with money they earned in class. They brought random things from home or things they had made to sell. 

I brought H with me. Brad was so excited to have his baby brother with him. He took him all over and bought him a bunch of stuff before he even thought about buying himself something. It was so good to see Brad be so selfless. 

It was so funny to listen to them barter and trade. 

Each kid in the class was given a small square to set up their store. They had to get a business licence too. Some of the kids hoarded their money and some kids spent every last dollar. Brad was definitely a spender.
